More timewasting...

It will all make sense in the end - all come together like a jigsaw puzzle that only reveals it's full picture when finished.

The Crossword Solver

This has now finally been moved to become a website in its own right with a few smarty-arsed bits added. It tries to see if you're a sad WAP device like my T68i and if it thinks you are it gives you a WML version of the solver with links to wml definitions on dictionary.com

The Blog a.k.a MJBlog

This thing, (what twatty Internet pimps would call a 'blog-engine'), has evolved in other incarnations. The basic approach of publishing docs and paragraphs in two separate relational database tables seems to be working well - for me anyway. On mjbdata.co.uk a modified version is controlling most of the general content with a Blog version acting as a ... er ... weblog, strangely enough.

Meanwhile...

I have to find some more time to waste and start to knit things together. An image publishing widget is needed next. Uploading and auto-resizing images has beeen part of everything I've ever done, but it's always been a bit little bit clunky. More recent projects have seen some sophistactions such as auto-mult-thumbnail creation, but I've yet to build something with that incorportates my current thinking towards storing master image files in a gallery and generating resized versions as necessary.

To do ...

I need to add images to this, really, as well as making my mind up about a 'real me' blog thing. typomania.co.uk is sitting there doing nothing. Shame to waste it. Perhaps that shous be a private comms channel? - somewhere where I can swear and laugh outloud about previous associates' cocaine and prostitue habits, in priave. Not that I particulary want to dwell in the past of course - more a desire to have somewhere to dump stuff about now.
