Diary of events

Next on the list of major website components is a multi-user semi-automatic events diary. Multi-user so that anyone who regularly organises jumble sales, beer festivals or any socially acceptable 'local' events can register and post details of them on a web-based diary. The semi-automatic part is more of a challenge. First I need to create a database of organisations who already publish date-stamped events on the Internet. Then I need to see if I can write scripts that can gather this information.

To begin with I'll add some venues to the Cambridge Web Directory website
